Personal History
Andrew is the third of three sons. He grew up in New York City, NY. His father spent most of his time away, as he was an engineer in Starfleet. His mother insisted the boys remain on Earth, but would allow them to spend holidays on whatever ship their father was on, if the situation and the ship's current assignment permitted it. Because of their love for their father, both Andrew and his older brother Robert (Jr) developed a love for engineering. Andrew was also fascinated with the career of Captain Montgomery Scott, of the U.S.S. Enterprise(NCC 1701 and 1701-A) fame. It was with Scott, and his father as inspiration that Andrew became a engineer.
Andrew graduated high school at the age od 17, and enrolled directly into Starfleet Academy. Upon his graduation, he was assigned to the U.S.S. Galaxy. Due to exemplary performance of his duty, Andrew was promoted to lieutenant junior-grade, a year later. The Galaxy was retired from duty, and Andrew transferred to the U.S.S. Eagle, NCC 9561, then commanded by Commodore Lukas Fyrstk.
