The trip back to the Alpha Quadrant took six days. We dropped out of slip-stream a couple times when it seemed we were overtaxing the engines. Nonetheless, we have made it safely back to Pasteur Station. Both ships have been docked, and crews debriefed. The brass spent more time, understandably, with the Agamemnon crew, considering when they had come from. Speculation is, it is unlikely Starfleet will allow them to return to their own time, now that they have seen the advancements in the Eagle's technology.
Both crews have been allowed liberty on the station, once their debriefing had been completed. We are still undergoing repairs, to fix up damage done when the Agamemnon "almost" collided with us in the slip-stream conduit. So, once I get this early morning meeting out of the way, they can go to the station, if they please.

We have traveled a couple light years out of Federation space, investigating some strange energy readings which turned out to be a high powered energy weapon. This same weapon was used on us, but we still have to find the source of hte weapon. I am ordering extreme caution, because we are out of our teritory, and I don't want to get involved in any civvil, or other type of war. To make things a bit more interesting, we had caught a ship on sensors which appeared to be a Federation ship, but the ion trail suggests it is of a class that is over one hundred years old. That particlar ship has also disappeared from our sensors. We are, of course, curious and are investigating further. Again, I am going to be overly cautious.

We have discovered a large weapons platform, hidden behind a very effective cloak. So effective, we almost ran into the thing. We have also identified the other starship out here, and it is the U.S.S. Sparta, and if we're correct, this ship is either from the past, or is still in the past and this area of space is somehow creating a bridge spanning over 100 years. I am thinking the latter, considering the fact that the Sparta was never lost, and has been reported by some of our crew to currently be in the mothball fleet at Copernicus Shipyard.
So.... Things just keep getting interesting.
