We have been attempting to effect repairs from whatever went haywire when we were last using the sub-mode. We probably frightened off any of the rogue ships that were attacking the shipping lanes. We've lost our element of surprise. Still, we will remain in the area along the Selelvian border where the attacks have taken place.

21:03CaptMcCloud:We are currently situated very close to the Selelvian border, trying to track a freighter that was used as a disguise for an attack on us. The ship which attacked us, had been destroyed, but we were hoping the freighter would lead us to whom was behind the attacks. Unfortunately, the ion trail led into Selelvian space. As my helmsman, who himself is a Selelvian native, has pointed out, should we cross the border it will lead to an interstellar incident. So, we are trying to track what we can, from the border. The problem with that is... We now have a Selelvian attact cruiser on an intercept course. While they are a match for a Galaxy-class ship, they are more than a match for the Eagle.
