Captain's Log
Startardate 71184.58 (03/09/2394, 09:00 hours)
We have set course for System 1040, a star system the the U.S.S. Taurino was scheduled to check out over twelve years ago. The ship had disappeared and was believed lost in the final Borg invasion of the Alpha Quadrant. They had discovered an object within System 1040 which was also discoved some eleven years later just outside Sector 001 by the U.S.S. Katana. In that case the object had abducted the crew of a listening post, but the Katana was able to recover them once it had used force against the object.

FOR THE SIM:
The Eagle and the Taurino are headed for the system. Commander Jorel is in command of the second ship with a skeleton crew from the Eagle. We will be nearing System 1040 at the start of the sim. Hopefully, if the onject is still in the system, or has returned to the system, we can solve this mystery and recover the original crew of the Taurino.
