Supplemental  (03/09/2394, 17:00 hours)

    Commander Hart was successful in retrieving the pod from the asteroid field.  The pod was towed into the Taurino's landing bay and the occupants are being tended to by Dr. Fenway and the crew aboard the science vessel.  I will be setting up a real time comm link with the Taurino so we may learn what has happened in this system.  Was the mysterious object to blame?

FOR THE SIM:
As the li life pod has been rescued, so has the "black box" from the devastated planet.  The crew aboard the Eagle will be working to decipher that.  The crew aboard the Taurino will be dealing with the pd occupants
