Anoard the U.S.S. Scorpion 18:00 hours)
I have temporarily assumed command of this vessel. I was surprised that, despite the ship and crew being out of touch with Starfleet for well over a decade now. the database and ship protocols were up to date. After reading through the captain's logs, I am no longer surprised. I am still not clear on how the aliens got aboard the ship. There doesn't seem to be any record of an encounter with them, neither in logs or sensor data.
Commander Hart assures me we will be able to get the ship moving again shortly. Mr. Andrews strikes were precise, and damage to the engines were minimal. I haven't heard from Dr. Fenway yet, in regards to Dr. Shadow's condition. Before we can retake our ship, we need to know how to combat that telepathic control.

For the Sim:
We will be getting the ship's engines back and getting under way shortly after sim's start. Dr. Shadow may (or may not) still be fighting to regain consciousness. Our goal is clear, to get our ship back.
The sim starts precisely at 21:00 hours, in the Eagle IFC chat room.
