Stardate 74022.94 (01/09/2397, 09:00 hours)
We have moved the Eagle and the disabled alien ship to the outskirts of an asteroid field, and set up the sub-mode to make us both look like one large asteroid. The being, I guess you can still call it that, Dr. Shadow brought back lies bahind a level-5 forcefield in sickbay. The doctor has removed its armor just in case any part of it can be used as a weapon. He has also scanned the epidermis of the being and not found any spots where things like the nodules the Borg used would come out. So, hopefully the alien is rendered helpless should it be reactivated.
The ship, itself, is still powerless. Commander Hart is confident he can bring it back to life, so we can access its databanks, but we want to be certain it will not start transmitting to its base. The remainder of its crew remains inert and we have quarantined them in a secure holding space on their ship. Hopefully, we can get some much needed answers.

For the Sim:
Eighteen hours have passed between sims. Dr. Shadow will be trying to find some answers about the beings, which seem to be synthetic life . We will also be trying to find a way to power up their ship.forms.
