Captain's Log
Stardate Supplemental (03/04/2397, 11:30 hours)
After receiving a distress call from Starbase Everest, we made a slip-stream jump to find the starbase under attack by three Synthion cruisers. We have also detected the USS Excelsior so, despite being outgunned by the Synthion ships, I believe we have a chance to make this quick. Dr. Shadow has suggested sending an EMP from the deflector dish and we are now ready to do so against the one cruiser.

For the Sim:
Less than ten minutes have passed since the last sim. We are now on an attack run for one of the three cruisers attacking Starbase Everest. Hopefully the EMP will work and we will only then have two ships to deal with. The ship is at red alert.
