Captain's log
Stardate supplemental (11/04/2397, 12:00 hours)
Emperor Runiria has been beamed aboard the ship after a suspected poisoning. Dr. Shadow has attempted to use dialysis, but that did not work, so he attempted to use his own healing abilities. When I arrived in sickbay, he was pleading for Administrator Iniadi to assist him, but she wasn't able to. I summoned Dr. Resork, and he has attended to Shadow. I am not happy the chief medical officer put himself at such a risk, but we will discuss that later.

For the Sim:
About a half hour has passed since the last sim. Dr. Resork has been able to stop the poison from doing any further damage to Dr. Shadow, and thankfully, Dr. Shadow's hands are healing, but slowly. Resork also put Emperor Runiria in to a total stasis field, preventing the poison from also doing further harm to the emperor. Now to figure out just what is happening.
The sim starts promptly at 21:00 hours (9pm) Eastern time in the Eagle chatroom.
