Captain's log
Stardate 76124.42 (02/15/2399, 10:30 hours)
We have just dropped Dr. Shadow off at his homeworld. He only cited, "family issues," as his reason for resigning his commission, but I know it was something serious, as he had received a message yesterday, then requested to take a shuttle home. I offered to take the slip-stream jump to get him back weeks sooner than a shuttle journey could take him. I have put in a request for a new CMO, but we will use the Dr. Resork-EMH in the meantime.

For the Sim:
A month has passed since the last sim. We will be departing Shadow's homeworld, at sim start, and heading back to unexplored space, outside Federation territory.
The sim starts promptly at 21:00 hours (9pm) Eastern time in the Eagle chatroom.
