Captain's log
Stardate supplemental (01/06/2400, 09:00 hours)
A planetary communications system has been re-established, on this Nigala. Now the colonies, on either side of the world, can talk to one another, again. Both the Sparrow, and the Talon, have returned to the ship. We will be sending the shuttles back out, to continue scouring the planet for any more survivors. On another note, Ensign Baker presented her possible solution to the atmosphere problem. It involves introducing a compound to the upper atmosphere, and firing phasers. Theoretically, it should burn out the heavysmoke and other contaminants, but... it could also destroy the atmosphere altogether. We will be sending a team back over to the space station, so a closer study of the weapon that was under development, can be completed.

For the Sim:
About nineteen hours have passed between sims. All Eagle crew members are back aboard the ship. The team will be beaming over to Nigala, to study the weapon, and sciences will be running simulations to determine whether we can clean up this Nigala's atmosphere safely.
The sim starts promptly at 21:00 hours (9pm) Eastern time in the Eagle chatroom.
