MISSION 021022
The Bismarck has been sent to the Remax system, located within the Romulan Neutral Zone. There we have taken aboard 2 guests for transport. Aboard are the daughter of the Romulan leader and her bodyguard. Our mission is to transport them to Starbase 97 to engage in treaty talks.
MISSION 021029
After evading the 2 Romulans following us, we will continue our trip towards Starbase 97. Our trip is still classified "Ultra Top Secret" and we should except no help.
MISSION 021216
The alien children on the Borg sphere have been discovered by Lt Barge's team. So far, communication has been, to say the least, difficult since the universal translator does not seem to be able to translate what they are saying. Our science officer will try to figure out where these children came from. All other departments will assist.
SHIP'S STATUS
The Bismarck is at Yellow alert, holding station just outside the Malstrum, an area of space that has been classified as "avoid" by Fleet command.
MISSION 030209
We'll pick up where we left off 2 weeks ago. We will just be entering the Malstrum.
Status Report USS Bismarck
Having entered the Malstrum and finding the abandoned and damaged Klingon ship, the Bismarck crew investigated and found what appears, according to Lt. Herrok, to be the remains of the legendary Klingon warrior Kah'Less.

The away team made it's way to the bridge of the Klingon vessel to download the ship's logs to discover what happened to the ship. Lt's Herrok and Nova were able to bring up the last log of the Klingon vessel, where we discovered that the ship was attacked by Romulans, and forced to find refuge in the Malstrum. The Romulans were destroyed by a pocket of plasma before they could board the Klingon ship.

While on the bridge, Captain St. Porter and Lt Herrok, saw one of the dead Klingons rise and attempt to attack Lt Nova. Captain St. Porter then ordered the away team back to the shuttle to consider his options.

Option 2: If the Klingon was real, what does that mean.
  • Option 3: What to do with the body of who we assume to be Kah'Less.
MISSION 030224
TO: Fleet Command
FROM: USS Bismarck, Captain Mark St. Porter commanding

Returning to the Klingon vessel, Lt. Herrok and Ensign Kaine were able to get the main power back on-line. Lt. Nova found the Klingon mission brief in the main computer, but we couldn't translate it. I called Lt. Herrok back to the bridge and had him read it.

The Klingons were transporting the remains of Kah'Less to a planet so it may be hidden from their enemies. Along the way, the ship was attacked by Romulans, disabled and pulled into the Malstrum.

The Klingons were unable to repair the damage. Before they died, they set up a defensive program designed to create Klingon "ghosts" to scare away intruders. Another program caused an engine overload once main power was reestablished.

I ordered the crew out of the Klingon vessel, had Lt. Herrok transport the remains to the shuttle cargo bay, and I piloted the shuttle out of the Malstrum just as the Klingon ship exploded. The force of the explosion threw the shuttlecraft out of the Malstrum, where the Bismarck was able to lock their tractor beams on us and guide us into the hanger bay.

After we are checked out by medical, I will have Lt. Herrok contact the Klingon home world to inform them of our plans to escort the body of Kah'Less to his final resting place.

Promotions:
  • LtJg Devon Nova has been promoted to Lt.
  • Lt. Eron Barge has been promoted to LtCommander.
Mission Recap USS Bismarck - 030306
We are proceeding to the planet where the remains of Kah'Less were to be interned. We received the permission of the Klingon Council to take Kah'Less. The Council informed us that several ships have left to intercept us. These ships were being manned by descendants of the original crew sent to bury Kah'Less. The descendants fell into disfavor and dishonor when the original crew failed their mission after being attacked by the Romulans and forced into hiding in the Malstrum. Once we were intercepted by the Klingons, they demanded that we hand over the body of Kah'Less. We refused. One of the Klingon Bird-Of-Prey attacked us. We disabled it. The leader of the Klingon group asked our forgiveness concerning the attack and I invited him and his first officer to beam over to the Bismarck and hold talks with us over the situation. He agreed. I had Lt. Herrok hail the Klingon Council to have them involved in these talks.
