LtCdr Eron Barge: Ensign Saddack, scan the asteroids and see if they are
real.

Adm Saddack: Analysis complete, they are indeed real.
LtCdr Eron Barge: Action: The asteroids are real. There are several small
asteroids which are not a threat as they would burn in the atmosphere.
LtCdr Eron Barge: Action continue: There are 5 asteroids, ranging in size
from medium size to boulder sized. These could be a problem if they hit the
planet.
LtCdr Eron Barge: More Action: Finally, there are 2 very large asteroids,
ranging in size from half-a-mile wide to 2 miles across. If these hit the
planet, the
LtCdr Eron Barge: Action: inhabitants will not survive past 3 months. The
dust clouds sent up once these asteroids impact, will block out the sun,
killing vegetation and animal life.
GHSsoccer22: (( lots of action eh?))
Torran1224: Well then, we must follow the Captain's orders, can destroy them
so that they will produce small fragments that would burn up in the
atmosphere of the planets.
Adm Saddack: I suggest we start with the closest ones
GHSsoccer22: what if we cant destroy them?
Adm Saddack: I suggest firing Photon torpedos at the medium sized astroids,
and Quantom torpedos at the larger astroids.
LtCdr Eron Barge: Start by seeing if you can break up the smallest of the
big ones first. For the bigger ones, it might be better to try to deflect
them away fromt he planets.
Torran1224: Then we would produce a evacuation plan.
LtCdr Eron Barge: Ens Saddack, use the phasers on the medium sized
asteroids.
Adm Saddack: Aye sir enaging attack pattern Saddack Omega 53 B

Torran1224: ::raises eyebrow:: I am curious as to why you would engage an
attack pattern to destroy asteriods, we are currently not in any combat.
LtCdr Eron Barge: Ens Torran, use the information we have on the natives of
the planet to see if they would be a threat to us if we did make contact.

Adm Saddack: It appears that we are slowly slicing through the astroids

encountered life forms::
LtCdr Eron Barge: Ens Saddack, how long will it take to make all five medium
sized asteroids into a size that is not a threat?
Adm Saddack: At the current rate I guestimate about 15 mins sir
Torran1224: ::Looks up and turns towards Eron:: Sir, they do not appear to
any threat to us, for they may be just exprimenting with anti-matter, but
they do not have any weapons that comparable to our defense systems.
LtCdr Eron Barge: ::nods:: That is good.
LtCdr Eron Barge: ::turns to Torran:: Understood.
LtCdr Eron Barge: While doing that, perhaps we can come up with a way to
deflect the largest asteroids
Torran1224: What is the desinty of the largest asteriod?
GHSsoccer22: could our tracker beam be strong enough to maybe pull it out of
its current path away from the planet?
Torran1224: (density*)

LtCdr Eron Barge: Action: One of the largest asteroids will hit one planet
straight on, the second will miss the first planet, and hit the edge of the
second planet.
LtCdr Eron Barge: ::looks to Shannon:: A tractor beam. That is a very good
idea.
Torran1224: Ensign Saddack, when you are finished with the Meduim asteriods,
use the tractor beam to move the largest away from the path of the first
planet.
Adm Saddack: Aye Sir
LtCdr Eron Barge: Action: The last medium sized asteroid is being sliced
Adm Saddack: Engaging tractor beam on the largest astroid
GHSsoccer22: maybe after the bigger asteroids are away from the planet we
should blow them up just so this doesn't happen to others ?
LtCdr Eron Barge: Action: The asteroid puts strain on the tractor beam
because of it's speed and size.
Torran1224: That would not be a good idea, for they could cause debris that
could potential harm the plaents.
Torran1224: We could change its path into the Star of this system.
LtCdr Eron Barge: ::nods, agrring with Torran:: That is the reason I thought
it might not be a good idea to destroy them, unless we have no other choice
Torran1224: Have we made any progress Saddack?

LtCdr Eron Barge: Action: Tractor beam doesn't move the asteroid.
Adm Saddack: Sir we are not moving the astroid at all
GHSsoccer22: whats the asteroid made out of?
Adm Saddack: May I suggest position ourselvs in front of the first planet
and we fire quantom torpedos at so that the chunks it breaks into break away
from the planet
LtCdr Eron Barge: Action: Asteroid made mostly of iron.
Torran1224: Hmm... perhaps if we were to hit it with a torpedo or probe at a
correct angle, it might be able to deflect them away.
LtCdr Eron Barge: Ens. Saddack, would that not just get us hit by the
asteroid?
GHSsoccer22: saddack that may not be a good idea... we cant insure that the
pieces wont hit the plante
Torran1224: I agree we can not put the ship in danger.
Adm Saddack: Well then sir I am out of ideas
GHSsoccer22: is iron magnetic?
LtCdr Eron Barge: Can we use the ship's deflectors?
Adm Saddack: {{sorry i never really knew what the ship's deflectors where
used for or how to use them}}
Torran1224: It is a possibility however we would have to create a field ten
times the magnitude of what is needed for the Bismarck it self.
GHSsoccer22: (( you deflect things))

Torran1224: Perhaps, if we use the ships multi vector assualt mode, which
could create a bigger field if it is genatored from a central point.
GHSsoccer22: and we'd have to find out what pole the iron is... we dont want
to pull the asteroid near us... but push it away right?
Torran1224: That would not be a factor, since the deflector field does not
involve anything magnetic

vecoter assualt mode where it splits into three segments, it is mostly for
combat)

deflectors or the magnetic?)
Torran1224: (It has to do with deflectors, if we only use one dish and
increase it range to encompass all three parts, it may be enough to push the
asteriods)

Soccer's magnetic idea, and it wasn't making any sense.)

GHSsoccer22: Are we sure theres enough iron in the asteroid for this to even
work?
Torran1224: The iron in the asteriod is not a factor in the matter since we
are not using a magnetic charge to pull the asteriod.
LtCdr Eron Barge: Ens. Torran, we'll try your idea first. If that does not
work, then we can see what we can do with Ens. Shannon's idea.

asteroid, and as wanted, it deflects it away from the planets.

only speed it up towards the planet.

Torran1224: Computer disable deflector field and reintegrate the ship then
reactivate the deflector field to normal parameters.

it will work, but maybe if we  change the polarity of our shields, or maybe
the defletors  and we  were to the side of the asteroid instead the front we
could push it....

Torran1224: I don't think that by reversing the polarity of the shields
woulid work, but perhaps if we would reverse the polarity of the ships hull
to the opposite of that of the iron then it might work.
Adm Saddack: {{heh thats a good one}}
GHSsoccer22: well sir like i said its not my field.
LtCdr Eron Barge: How do you propose we change teh polarity of the ship's
hull?
GHSsoccer22: ( wasn't that done on the show before?)

Torran1224: Honestly I do not know sir, perhaps if we were to interact it
with a tachyon field to the opposite polarity of iron then it would change
the hull to match, but then that is just a theory it is probably improbable.
GHSsoccer22: there aren't any other ships in the area that could be here
within a day or two ?

GHSsoccer22: seeing how we've run out of ideas, its seems our last hope is
to contact the planet. I wonder what good we could do now, seeing as we're
more advanced then them and couldn't help...
Torran1224: I disagree, we must avoid contact with them.  It is already
enough that we are helping them whatsoever.
GHSsoccer22: I agree with you on but ask orders go, we're supposed to help.
Are we to disobey our captains orders?

GHSsoccer22: I honestly dont see what how contacting them could help, if we
couldn't save them without their help, us being more advanced how can we
