It has been slightly over six months since our journey to the Delta Quadrant on a mission I can no longer talk about. Starfleet Command has classifoed the whole thing, so I cannot even mention the name of the ship. Fun.
Starfleet had given this length of a time off so that upgrades could be made to the ship as well as repairs from the battle we didn't have (officially). Most of the crew was given the majority of the time off so they could go home and visit family. Thanks to the Brethren, I have no planet to return to, so... I pretty much stayed on Pasteur. I guess I spent enough time on this base before taking command of the Eagle that I could call it home. I must say, I do like the rennovations they have done to the station. The whole park level is just plain awesome.
I did get to spend a lot of time with Terra. How refreshing it was to do so without the stigma of me being her commanding officer. It completely changed our whole relationship... for the better. Armand has spent quite a bit of time with the Fyrstk twins and Luna Fyrstk. So much so that he asked if he could stay behind on the station when we ship out. I have spoken to Terra about it and she is good with it. It will be lonely, but I do know the interaction is better for him.
Starfleet Command has just sent me a new "packet" with our next mission details in it. I will be opening that up just as soon as I finish this log. Which reminds me... Back to work.
