After the Harvesters returned to the Conveyance, the ship went quiet, with only a brief forewarning from Sprout that the transfer process required complete focus. The unstable state of the harvested material to special vats used for the incubation period requires careful monitoring. A team of mastiff like canines coordinate and oversee the transfer of the vats to the Eagle and leave painstakingly detailed directions on how to monitor the temperature of the vats so that the crystals form properly. Many of the details include "If it smells like ... slowly raise/lower the temperature."
Finally getting a tour of the Eagle, the rest of the crew slowly tricked in and out so that they can give their input and expertise on the process of singing the Star-Bone free from its growth medium, cleaning and grooming the crystalline petals and establishing the neural resonance link with the array.
Once each group had given their advice and returned to the Conveyance, only Sprout remained behind, to collaborate with Commander Hart on the construction of the Bio-engineered array for the crystalline petals to attach to, and also to catch up with his favorite buddy, Bear.
