I?m going to have to be returning to the Academy here soon for graduation. After which time I will find out what assignment I will go. I?m guessing it will all depend on what the Captain puts in his report. When I first arrived on this ship I was looking forward to the day when I would be able to leave and graduate. Now, I don?t want to do anything but stay. I can?t think of a better ship assignment then on the Eagle. A lot of weird things seem to happen to this ship, more so then most ships. Things will be pretty boring on other assignments. Especially if I get assigned to a station or something like that.
Maybe I should talk to the Captain, request permission to stay aboard the Eagle. But is he really going to want an ex-spy aboard his ship? Probably not. Maybe if I had come to him sooner. But it?s been just barely over a month since I told him the truth. I?m sure it?s still fairly fresh in his mind. Although . . . he did give me some words of encouragement after he finished yelling at me. I suppose there won?t be any harm in asking him. Now I just have to find the right time to ask. Hopefully before my time here is up.
